machine specifications:

• Triple collector continuous flow IRMS (Isotope Ratio Mass Spectrometer) devoted specifically for ¹⁷O/¹⁶O and ¹⁸O/¹⁶O ratio analysis using O₂ as a measuring gas and He as a carrier gas. Refinement is under way.
• Required sample size is less than 1μg.
• On-line Ar-F laser-assisted fluorination system for O₂ extraction is attached.

applications:

• Precise δ¹⁷O and δ¹⁸O analysis of mineral constituents of meteorites, with an error less than 0.5 ‰ and spatial resolution of 100 µm.
